Restaurants with outdoor dining are attractive open-air options as the coronavirus is showing no immediate signs of letting up in Tallahassee.
There are dozens ofchains and locally-owned restaurants with outdoor seating. Each one adds to and reflects the restaurant's individual charm.
Georgio's Fine Food and Spirits has a striking outdoor veranda, although the restaurant temporarily closed recently out of an abundance of caution when an employee tested positive for COVID-19. However, they are set to reopen on July 7.

At Table 23, the restaurant's "Southern Porch" overlooks Thomasville Road and the usually bustling Midtown. At Blu Halo, an open-air green space allows children to play under the watchful eye of their parent grabbing a bite in a covered eating area.
The largest outdoor dining area appears to be at the Railroad Square Craft House, a new kid on the culinary block that opened this summer.
Pre-pandemic, it could seat a few hundred people. Nowadays, it can comfortably seat up to 125 socially distanced in the outdoor area.
"We see a lot of people who are not comfortable going out but are comfortable coming out here," said Andrew Stone, one of the operating partners. "It will help uskeep our doors open."
Restaurants need any boost possible as they've suffered huge revenue losses as the coronavirus continues to drive an increase in positive cases in Tallahassee, along with Florida and parts of the country.
Many have adjusted their seating capacity outdoors to accommodate social distancing while others with outdoor space – Kool Beanz Café, Masa and Tan’s Asian Café to name a few – are not offering dine-in eating due to the pandemic.

4 Rivers Smokehouse
What's served: Traditional barbecue that includes angus brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, pulled chicken and ribs.
